Whenever I meet someone new, one of the first things I get complimented on is my hair colour.
While I would love to take credit for my hair always being on point, unfortunately I have no claim to it and all props go to Rory and the amazing team at Blo Hairdressing.
I met Rory a little over 2 years ago when they were looking for a makeup artist for a regular client's wedding.
We met up and hit it off immediately! Thank goodness, because this particular wedding was out in Nylstroom and we would be forced to spend a whole weekend together with only having met once before. Oh, and I would be driving with Rory and his team all the way there.
Needless to say, this was the beginning of what I like to think is a beautiful relationship.
To give you an idea on what Rory is capable of, this is me before Blo came into my life.
And, this is me now!
Now, don't get me wrong. I loved having my super long dark hair, and there was a long transition period of different cuts and colours to get me to this point. But the day I gave Rory free reign to do as he pleased, this happened. To say that I love it would be an understatement.
But wait, there is more! Not only are the stylists at Blo masters of colour, they sure can style and cut hair too.
Their talents don't end there and we frequently supply hair and makeup services for many events together. Weddings are my forte and when I need assitance with hair the only stylists I use are those at Blo.
Blo has also aligned themselves with great brands such as ghd, Loreal, Kerastase and done numerous shoots and campaigns for Elle Magazine, Nubian Bride and Joburg Style.
They also sponsor hair for great acts like Josie Field and Laurie Levine and always have really great events and evenings for their clients.
Blo has recently launched a new shop in Maboneng in Johannesburg and their own range of hair shampoo and conditioner. This salon is always ahead of the trends and they keep growing with love and loyalty from old and new clientele alike.
